Hotel Project (Extended)

For my final assignment in the Spring 2024 Digital Media III class, I embarked on a challenging and rewarding journey to create a series of intricate renderings and design a captivating public space for my studio's Hotel Project. This portfolio page proudly presents my meticulously crafted SketchUp renderings, enhanced through the powerful visualizations of Lumion. These renderings breathe life into Mama Shelter Copacabana Brazil, encapsulating its vibrant essence and dynamic spirit with exquisite detail and artistry.

The public space I chose to create was the entrance to my hotel lobby. It features materials similar to those in the elevator lobby, corridor, and guestrooms. Additional elements include Brazilian quartzite seen on the walls upon entering and wood-printed glass to divide the reception area. There is also customized mosaic tile along the lounge area facing the window.

These renderings, showcased on my Hotel Project page, have been refined and glamourized using the effects option in Lumion. After extensive testing, countless trials, and a touch of artistry in Adobe Photoshop, I succeeded in transforming my previous camera views into stunningly realistic representations.
